Robust demand drives primary lead enterprise in-factory inventory down to a nine-month low [SMM Primary Lead Inventory Weekly Review]

As of October 23, the in-factory inventory of primary lead delivery brands was 1,500 mt, down 1,500 mt WoW.

This week, primary lead smelters saw mixed production changes, while downstream enterprises actively purchased goods. Due to limited vehicle availability in regions such as Inner Mongolia and Hebei, the transportation cycle for some lead ingots was extended. Meanwhile, as lead prices surged, traders rushed to purchase goods, planning to ship to delivery warehouses. Some smelters sold out their monthly production and began preselling November supplies. In Henan, for instance, smelters experienced queues for cargo pick-up, driving the in-factory inventory of primary lead enterprises down to a nearly nine-month low.
